Have been away from posting for awhile but did do some travels from Ireland to Martha’s Vineyard to sailing on RCL to the Caribbean. I will share some of my travels here in pictures ,covid was in full swing last August but went on my merry way anyhow! Followed all the Covid vaccine rules and testing for returning to the U.S. as well at 48 hr testing prior to ship sail ,all went well and was well worth it . Travel is so primal for many of us , maybe for all of us but only some recognize this need. Enjoy my travels with me as I visited my friend of almost 40yrs in Dublin , had a family gathering in Edgar town and sailed Harmony of the Seas in the beginning of 2022. Edgartown with all its green areas and watering holes with sailboats at every turn is really a fantastic piece of paradise. Martha’s Vineyard still an enclave of a time gone by is just the place to slow down and enjoy time passing and family traditions. We had great food and wine opportunities as well , my fave being the Lobster roll covered in melted butter while looking out at the blue waters off Oak Bluff which was the Nantucket Sound. We travelled from Boston by car to Woods Hole and took the ferry across to Oak Bluff, this making it the best option for having a car for the time there , very .necessary! I thought I saw President Barrack and Michelle ,well at least their detail , I tried to see more but my husband wouldn’t let me. LOL! Maynooth is a little College Gem just outside of Dublin and I have been visiting there for many years to see an old friend who is more like a sister. We had walks and dinners and made Pizzas in the backyard oven courtesy of her now grown up young sons.Visits to the Irish Athletic Club in Maynooth to watch the offsprings play Hurling and Gaelic football were also a wonderful treats. High Tea at the K Club was one of my favorite new experiences and the San witches and sweets were delectable .Such medicine for the soul , Ireland.
